This seems like an impossibility, especially in this economic climate.

As I sit at my desk making travel plans for early next year, it got me thinking about the New Year in general. I started asking myself, “where do I want to go in 2011”? “Where do I want my company to go in 2011?”.

 As a leader, we can only be as successful as the teams we lead.

 I just said goodbye to my younger son who is leaving the business to fulfill his calling.

Called on the carpet by the customer.  Never a fun thing.  But it doesn't have to be all negative.  We sometimes want to insulate ourselves from the things that our companies don't do so well.  We don't like it when the customer loses faith in us and "wonders" if they can find a better product, better price at a competitor.  But these conversations are opportunities for growth.
